Before We Begin

Yuma Auctions feature traditional auction processes (with previews and pickups), combined with the ultimate bidder convenience (online bidding), and the latest in auction technology (event based, photo catalogs, watch lists, second-by-second countdown, extended bidding and credit card only payments).

Even if you’re familiar with our auctions, take a look around. You will learn about our process, policies, and techniques, helping you have the best bidding experience possible.

Online Auctions

Yuma Auctions conducts auctions online and live in our gallery. No bids will be accepted offline for our online only auctions.

Getting Registered

Registration is required to bid on an auction. It also helps us qualify bidders. Read through our buying process before registering.

The Buying Process

1. Inspection

You must register before bidding.

Most events feature a preview, inspection or open house one or two days prior to the conclusion of the auction. This is a showcase of the items at their physical location.

Bidders should carefully consider the descriptions, photos, details and terms of sale, then bid accordingly if there is no preview.

2. Bidding

You must register before bidding.

Once you are registered bidding is easy. Click the auction link for online bidding.

Each item features a large button that displays the next incremental bid. You may click that button to place the next incremental bid. You may also manually enter a MAXIMUM BID. Once you place a MAXIMUM BID the software will place incremental bids for you in competition with other bidders, up to your MAXIMUM BID. No matter whether you choose to bid incrementally or place a maximum bid, the bidding platform will prompt you to confirm that you meant to place that bid.

3. Payment

Accepted forms of payment include Visa or MasterCard. You must have available balance on your credit card for your online purchases. At the conclusion of the event your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the entire amount of your purchases.

Please note:A buyer's premium will be added to the final high bid for each item purchased. This buyer's premium may vary across auctions. Please read the individual Terms and Conditions for each auction to determine the buyer's premium for that particular auction.

Example: When a 15% buyer’s premium is added to each purchase, if you bid $100.00 at check out you will be charged $115.00.

Example: When a 17% buyer's premium is added to each purchase, if you bid $100.00 at check out you will be charged $117.00.

Example: When a 20% buyer’s is added to each purchase, if you bid $100.00 at check out you will be charged $120.00.

4. Removal

All items are required to be picked up at the physical location noted in the event details. Yuma Auctions does not offer any type of shipping methods or assistance during removal. Our clients often need their location empty so items not picked up during the removal time will be considered abandoned.

Please note: Buyers must bring all tools, people and equipment to safely remove won items.

Important: Bidder Responsibility & Termination Policy

Our Bidder Termination Policy

We are grateful that you choose Yuma Auctions to get the stuff you need at the price you set. Out of respect for our clients and customers, we will terminate a buyer’s bidding privileges after two infractions.

Suspension: If a buyer does not live up to their responsibilities throughout the auction process we will suspend bidding privileges until one of our customer service team members is able to speak with the buyer and resolve the issue.

Termination: If a buyer does not live up to their responsibilities throughout the auction process a second time we will terminate bidding privileges.

Bidder

We work to bring you unique items a great prices. To help us in this process bidder required to:

• Pick up items during specified removal times and only during specified removal times

• Bring all tools, people, and resources to safely disassemble and remove items

• Bid only on items you are serious about winning

• Follow through on auction purchases

• Understand that your credit card will be charged immediately following the close of an event
